Has anyone of us wondered about what do we use to shield our eyes from the glare of the sun before the invention of sunglasses? Wide-brimmed straw hats, we assume, sun umbrella for the ladies, or the most primitive way but effective way: positioning the hand at the eyebrows to shade the eyes. There is an amazing yet true fact: Sam Foster introduced the first sunglasses in year 1929.They were sold on the sidewalk in the wonderful old Atlantic City! They immediately hit the beach as a heat wave!
The purpose of sunglasses served switched with time: they have gone way beyond principal function:from protection to fashion.
